 It is a VW Golf Ecu 1.4Tsi 2013 with Bosch MED17.5.21 ECU. Read/Write no problem with formulaflash. Used the Immo off Function in the FormulaFlash Software with one click. Checksum by Formula flash. It’s a good tool for bench work only at the moment really. Read and write times are ok. Has good support for Bosch ECUs.

 There are several tools to do IMMO OFF for Bosch ME7.8.8 ECU. MDFALSHER with protocols 113 and 49. or S&V with ME788 protocol (protocol takes $500) But they do not work on some Chinse brands, Geely, Roewe, FAW Bestune etc. FormulaFlash ecu programmer now supports one-click IMMO OFF for ME7.8.8 ECU.   Problem: Trying to read and write Simos 8.5 ECU with FormulaFlash programmer on bench mode, it failed me and said the slave computer was not connected. Any solution? Solution: Software issue. IMMO OFF successfully. Press YES to write data to the ECU. Write IMMO OFF data to ECM successfully. FormulaFlash will read Delco E83 ECM via OBD as well.
