  Foxflash read and write Mercedes B170 Siemens sim266 ECU in BDM successfully. Siemens sim266 Mercedes B170 Bdm mpc55x Read ok. Write ok. Checksum with foxflash. Keep voltage 13V. By foxflash all took around couple of minutes.

 Foxflash new user report: Volvo XC60 DENSO MB279700 ECU. Did it again via foxflash . Read unlock ok. Write ok. EGR OFF. Note: turn on off a couple times. When reading and unlock till you start procedure started See a lot people get error. Those who get error have something like 11.9–12.3volts. It can be done. just try.

  Problem: Foxflash is unable to write a Bosch MD1CS003 ECU from Opel Corsa 2021 on bench mode. Read ok, write failed. Solution: This Bosch number is 0 281 037 101. 037 you cannot do it with Foxflash, even KESS3/Flex. It is locked. 034/035/036 versions are possible to read and write on bench mode. 037 is not possible.

  Foxflash user feedback: Ford Transit Custom SID211 ECU is bricked by other device. Successfully recovered this ECU with foxflash in boot mode. Car owner has original file on USB stick. He try flash his car and something happened because was no communication with ECU. First I read password, then flash. Some users reported read and write sid211 ok via obd, but car cannot start. Attention, it’s not safe in obd with foxflash or other device on the Ford SID211, better do it in boot.

  Problem: Foxflash failed to write a Citroen EDC17C60 ECU on bench mode, the software reported an error unlock failed. Any solution? Solution: You need to read password from file before write. You need to write original file, you extract password from original file put on same folders and write it. If you can’t write, that mean someone used a clone mix service file and you can’t write it anymore. Feedback: Update. Loaded original file extracted password saved in folder with new file good to go.   Problem: Foxflash programmer reads Audi Bosch EDC16U31 ECU ok, but failed to write this ECU on bench. Any solution? Solution: First voltage is too low, try to write with voltage over 13.5V. Second, it can be up to checksum. Make cheksum on winols, not with foxflash. Don’t do checksum automatically when writing back original. If fail to write back original file, open and use bdm or try to flash original. You can easily recover it in boot with k-tag/ kess3 as well. KESS2 or mpps is better on this old ECU.

  Problem 1: It’s an Audi a6 3.0tdi 2005 with Bosch EDC16CP34 ECU. Read and write with FoxFlash in bench mode. Ecu had been soft bricked and car didn’t start. Solution: Edc16cp34 has problem with checksum. Always do checksum manually (in winols/Lsuite etc). User feedback: Feedback: Original ecu file from original-ecu website flashed back. Everything works good. Problem 2: Edc16cp34 Tuareg. Foxflash Read bench ok. Write stopped at 90%. Solution: BDM mode to recovery it. never write all only intflash except when you have the fullback file up.

  Foxflash read and write Mercedes Actros MP4 MCM 2.1 and ACM all ok. It works well on all series of MCM and ACM from Actros MP4. Read the flash and eeprom using the bench method. Actros MP4 MCM 2.1 D3 full read and write ok, full system bench mode. Voltage 14V. Actros ACM 2.1 full read and write ok, full system bench mode. Voltage 14V.   Problem: Tried to read and write Porsche med17.1.6 (tc1797) ECU with foxflash . Reading was okay with the original but I can’t write with new one is there any idea or tips about this type? Error: Uncorrect file 014000-OTP sector not writable. Solution: So need to import ONLY maps, now theres changes on otp area on that version your trying to write. Needs some manual winols editing to make that new file compatible to be written on foxflash. Tool give you info about OTP adress, its the important thing. Some flashers are skipping this block, some not. Try boot. bench read all on old, write all on new ecu or via boot You need to rewrite the OTP in the file. You need to find the sector that Foxflash suggests and enter it from the old firmware into the new one. It would be good if you had WinOLS. www.iecutool.eu

  Foxflash read and write Citroen Jumper 2.2 ecu Visteon DCU 102 successfully. Read ECU in boot mode. Foxflash will read Ford Visteon DCU by OBD, PSA cannot. Write ECU via OBD. It stopped for a moment at 60%, it said it was checking the checksum, but then the writing continued fine. The writing took about 20 minutes in total.

  Problem: Just bought myself FoxFlash to clone dq400e. It gets ecu data but does not read. Am i doing something wrong? Solution: You have to follow instructions correctly. Pres ok then turn key on not before. Otherwise will fail to get id. Same thing happens on DQ250 MQB. Option 2: Or read via obd with GT105 and GT107 . Option 3: Godiag also released a 9 in 1 gearbox adapter which is also compatible with foxflash. With the gearbox 9 in 1 cable, you can also read DQ400E gearbox with foxflash on bench.

  Problem: Tried to read Peugeot Bosch MD1CS003 ECU 0281037200 with FoxFlash programmer but failed. Error SK2 bench locked. Can Autotuner or Hexprog2 do them? Solution: They are not locked till around 2021. Done a lot of them with foxflash 2018–2021, this one is from 2022 and is locked. 0281 034 708 OK 0281 034 826 OK 0281 035 332 OK 0281 035 365 OK 0281 035 366 OK 0281 036 205 OK 0281 037 101 OK 0281 037 198 NOT POSSIBLE 0281 037 200 NOT POSSIBLE 037–039 are locked. Foxflash, Autotuner , Flex etc cannot read if locked. Only v2flasher after 2020. Vf2 can unlock on lab and after that can read/write.

  Foxflash read Mercedes Benz Bosch EDC16CP36 ECU via OBD or Bench? Both OBD and bench mode work fine. For example: MERCEDES-BENZ S 350 CDI 235HP 2008 EGR/Swirl Flaps OFF EDC16CP36 on Bench with Foxflash. Read ok, write ok, checksum with foxflash. Over OBD was also read and write. But on this ecu for some functions you can do them only on bench/boot, because some of the map sectors are not transferable over OBD️. Bench mode: OBD mode:

 Here comes the new user feedback from one of the Foxflash users: VW Polo GTI 2017 1.8TSI 192HP Simos 18.1 ECU. OBD VR read ok. Hit "Read" and get vr file online. OBD Write ok. Checksum correction with foxflash. Simos 18.1 VR reading need luck. There is no support for Golf 7 gti engine. golf mk7 vr was no problem, I went to do a customers mk7.5 — same ECU — no VR available. Had to read and write in boot mode.

  Problem: It’s a Ford Transit Custom 2017 with SID211 ECU, Foxflsah reads id ok but reading error. Any idea? Solution: Charge maintenance at 14V+. Read and clear all defaults in your ecu and try. If not good repeat this and remove the positive connector on your battery for 5min and try again. Normally reading is good. User report: 1). Transit Custom 2018 SID211 OBD password ok OBD read/write ok checksum by foxflash. 2). SID211 2017 Ford transit/tourneo 2.0tdci, obd2 read and write all ok. 12 mins write, 5 min read.

Checksum correction via foxflash Bit of work but very smooth. lots of heat, lots of patience. Foxflash usually does MJD 9DF full read and write via OBD, if it is Hw002 read full system, Write obd, or BDM mode. FLEX does this hw002 full obd.
