 Read and write Ford Kuga DCM6.1 ECU with Foxflash programmer by OBD successfully. Ford Kuga 2016, 2.0, 110kw, ECU: DCM6.1 Mode: OBD HW: DS71–12B684-XB Read by foxflash. Checksum correction with foxflash. Write by foxflash. A short story. A quick internet search for the ecu identification numbers gave me a result that the ecu was DCM3.5 (140hp) Wrong… It wasn’t!!! Foxflash did the ID even I selected DCM3.5 , I received the error SK2, Error SilentKey when reading. After I selected the correct ecu DCM6.1 (150hp) everything was fine.

 Foxflash ecu programmer new user feedback today: ACDelco E83 ECM. Jtag connection Opel Astra J 1.4 g Read/Write ok by foxflash . Foxflash says no checksum. Writing without calculation ok. Why do it via Jtag mode? OBD mode also works. But Obd mode gives not full dump. Do it in Jtag if need full dump.  

 Renault Clio IV EMS3125 ECU, foxflash can do a full reading?? Can you clone? The OBD reading in the car works, but you can’t read the password, tries to be 3155. Nothing can be done on the table either, both OTB and BOOT. What other device can full read and clone this ECU? Foxflash : Foxflash does not have the possibility to write on this ECU only reading in OBD possible. Xhorse Multi Prog : No, multi prog failed to full data on EMS3125. OBDSTAR DC706 / G3 : Yes, obdstar reads full data. Renault Dacia EMS3125 clone ECU success. Obdstar with boot, Combiloader with boot ok. Even Flex doesn’t read it. Transdata will do the ECU work because it doesn’t need a password. And any tools with OBD Partial-read, only in a car with a synchronized immobiliser.

  Foxflash read and write PSA MED17.4 ECU successfully. Peugeot 207 RC 1.6 thp 175 ch MED17.4 Boot Tricore mode Med17.4 Tc1766 Read/Write ok. Checksum by foxflash ok. If need to clone this ECU, go into Boot menu and select tricore cloning, prepare flash, write modded flash, write original eeprom.

 Foxflash read and write VW Tiguan 2020 2.0 TSI Bosch MG1CS001 ECU successfully. MG1CS001 before 2020–06 FoxFlash Bench mode. Read/Write ok. Checksum by foxflash. Use a regulated power supply (5A). 14V voltage on bench. Before handing the car back to the customer, make sure to check for misfires and whether the ignition timing is being pulled back on any cylinders. Petrol engines are not diesels. You need to be careful with tuning and always log the car’s parameters properly.

 User working experience on reading and writing Fiat Ducato 2021 Marelli 9DF ECU using Foxflash programmer. Marelli 9df Ducato 2021 Fiat Ducato 2021 2.3MJet 140HP. Read: Bench obd, full ok (2 hours) but don’t write by Foxflash. Read/Write Jtag ok but very long time. Read takes 15 minutes, write 27 minutes. Adblue and stg1. Checksum correction with foxflash. Opening 9df for Jtag is very problematic.

 User feedback today: Completed clone of edc16cp34 Audi A6 C6 2008 Avant 2,7 TDI with foxflash ecu programmer in Bench, no problem. Just backed up ext flash, int flash and eeprom and then wrote to donor. Only for int flash tool does not do chksum but was no problem without.

  Problem: I’m having trouble reading my DL501 gearbox at foxflash programmer . I have to disconnect and re-connect several times, but the reading remains stuck at 0% . Any solution? Solution: You need Bench MFC cable. You need to use multifunction cable that is included in foxflash kit. There is a ignition switch. 12v+ and 12v Ignition. The ignition is under the on/off switch of mfc cable. Pinout directly from device to gearbox doesn’t work. Press read not get id. When tool told you put on or off. After put off, CLICK read then put on After..not before. Tested dl501 gen1 all okay. Even cloning. If use Godiag TCU adapter, before with ECU adapter and have to press the 120ohm button briefly when building the connection then it read immediately. Just try or plug K15 in and out. Example: Audi A6 C7 DL501 Cloning. Read OK Write OK

  Foxflash read and write Citroen ME7.4.4 ECU successfully. Mode: Citroen Saxo VTS 120 HP ECU & protocol: ME7.4.4 Full system Read: 2 min Write: 3 min No checksum. Car start. Immo Off in EEPROM and FLASH. Images attached:

 Foxflash new user report: It’s an Isuzu Dmax 2007 3.0d. Foxflash read it via obd on bench. DCM6.2 Delphi ecu Mpc56x Used multimultional adapter without benchbox. Obd protocol read ok. Took 1hr to read. Awaiting for a 5–6 amper power supply for writing to be safe. You can also use OTB adapter on this or gt100 diagtable.

It’s a BMW 3D 184hp with Bosch EDC15C4 ECU. Tried Foxflash Full mode but not working(connected everything as shown, measured cables, resistors, outputs everything with multimeter and it’s 100% fine but still no connection) — ERROR SEND WAKE. Simulated OBD on BENCH via K-LINE ok. READ — 5 min WRITE — 2 MIN ONLY FLASH PARTIAL READ!! Checksum with winols. If need to do it via full system mode, need to fix the colored rainbow cable! Problem is rainbow cable inverted, you need to fix the cable.

 Here is the real user’s working experience on VW Passat B7 EDC16CP46 ECU cloning using foxflash : It’s a VW Passat B7 2013 CFFB with Bosch EDC17C46 ECU. The ecu was broken, car didn’ t start, reading on bench was not working. The car wouldn’t start, some water had gotten into the ecu through the plastic plug. The car could be diagnosed on the ecu but there was no error. I tried to read the ecu in the bench but every time it told me to disconnect and reconnect the power and nothing happened. I had another ecu with the same part number from a Passat CC, so I backed it up in the bench. I saw that the one from the car didn’t work in the bench and I tried in boot mode, where initially it didn’t read it, it had to be read the password, I read in the obd mode the password, obd cable connected to the bench, save password on the pc, then I read the ecu for backup in boot mode.
