Foxflash EDC17C41 BMW F10 ECU Cloning Guide

 It’s a BMW F10 530d with Bosch EDC17C41 ECU. Successfully cloned ECU using Foxflash programmer on bench mode. Read EEPROM and IntFlash from Original ECU. Read IntFlash from Donor ECU. Use Clone tools and combine ORI and DONOR Intflash because of setting up OTP sectors and save new IntFlash file (important step). Use the cloning service in foxflash for the IntFlash file. Write ORI eeprom to Donor ECU without checksum Write new IntFlash file to the donor ECU with checksum. Done.

Available on bench and boot mode. Choose bench mode connection. There are 4 versions of bench pinouts for this ECU. Select one that matches your ECU. Set up bench connection according to the diagram. Connect ECU. Read and save eeprom & flash data. Click IMMO Off function . It will save flash again. Then do IMMO OFF. Click Yes to correct checksum. Then process data. Write data successfully.
