 Each serious tool on "pro" level has its own research and development team who daily push the boundries on what ecus/tcus tool can do by adding more protocols to list. Top 3 on actively still researching and developing more protocols with large userbase are autotuner,flex,kess v3. Top3 at the moment is autotuner (new upcomer, this is the schools guy doing everyones homework and brags about it on the yard XD ) ,flex ( this is the surgeon, military grade advanced tactical swiss army knifetool ) and KESS3 (good old alientech, veteran of the old days when kess v2 was still the best money could obtain. Magic Motorsport Flex Won't Start Error 2 Solution

  Problem: After the last update Magic Motorsport Flex programmer software won’t work. It says error 2, please reinstall the application. Does somebody have a solution? Solution: Unistal flex, delete folder flex on HD. Reinstall app you can find the installer on Google if you don’t have subscription. Turn off antivirus. Run as administrator. User report: I download from google. And reinstall. Now works good.

Solving Flex Compatibility Issues with SID209 ECU

  Problem: It’s a Ford Transit 2018 with sid209 TC1797 ecu. Hardware number gk4a 12a650 ua. I’ve tried bitbox and Flex programmer . But hardware not compatible (obviously see hw not listed). Any solution? Solution: Sid209 GK4A version you need to boot unlock. Can’t write via obd straight away. Boot for readout, never had any luck with VR’s on GK4A. Same as Autotuner . Do it in boot mode or use other devices. Some had good success with Trasdata & PCM Flash.

 Renault Siemens SIM32 64F7055+95160 ECU IMMO OFF by OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 successfully. Set up bench connection between ECU and G3 via P004 adapter. Read external eeprom and save. Go to Special function- IMMO OFF. IMMO OFF with G3 in device, no 3rd party software required. Possible virgin and immo off but on some software versions. Images attached:
