Solve Authentication Error VW Golf8 MD1CS004 ECU

  Problem: It’s a VW Golf 8 year 2022. Autotuner reads MCU ID on bench, but fails to read ECU data. Error authentication error. Any solution? Solution: The ECU hardware number is 309AA and the hardware version is H80. H80 309 AA ecu is locked. 309AA is not supported at the moment.

OBDSTAR DC706 now will virgin Mercedes Benz FBS4 VGS4–0-NAG2 gearbox TCU on bench mode without drilling a hole. Here comes the latest user feedback on VGS4 TCU. "Just wanted to give you some feedback regarding a job on a Mercedes W205 that came in for a gearbox replacement. The gearbox is a VGS4–0-NAG2. I used the OBDSTAR DC706 (I renewed my subscription specifically for this job). I connected the old gearbox and was able to read it without any problems in bench mode. Then, I successfully virginized the new gearbox without any issues (3 minutes, depending on your connection). Next, I successfully transferred the immobilizer data and entered the VIN. The whole job took 10 minutes. The vehicle started and is working perfectly. I should mention that the entire process was done in bench mode with MP001."
