OBDSTAR ECU Master: Renault ME17.9.23 Clone Guide

 The Renault Kwid ECU ME17.9.23 TC1724 was brought in for cloning. The part number on the ECU is 0 261 S17 723. The goal was to read the ECU data using the OBDSTAR ECU Maste r, back it up, and then write the data back to verify the process works. Bench Mode Connections All necessary connections were made for bench mode operation. The wiring includes: Positive and negative power connections CAN High and Low wires for ignition GPT wire (on the other side) These connections are shown clearly so viewers can follow along. Setting Up the OBDSTAR ECU Master Once in the laptop interface, the ECU Master tool is opened. The vehicle selection is: Navigate to 17.9.23. Select Renault — the ECU profile loads. Select Bench mode. The pinout diagram appears. The ECU is identified — this is the ME17.9.23 TC1724 with part number 179 23. PSA MD1CS003 ECU Locked or Unlocked? How to Check

  Question: It’s a Peugeot Partner 1.5 132hp with Bosch MD1CS003 ECU. Car build date is 2020/06. Try to read this ECU with Flex programmer. How do i know if ecu needs to be boot glitched or not? Is there any danger of trying to connect and reading on non locked protocol if ecu requires boot glitch? Here is the clue. How to determine whether the MD1CS003 ECU is locked or not? Way 1: Just try normal bench read and you will know if its blocked. If locked then flex tell you. Way 2: Check the ECU label. If 0281 034, 035 or 036 it’s not locked. Also, 0281 037 101 not locked. If more than "037" is locked. FYI: How to determine the TPROT lock status of PSA MD1CS003: It can be quickly determined based on the part number. Part numbers starting with 3XX indicate not locked; those starting with 4XX or 5XX indicate a locked state, requiring an unlocking operation before normal data reading and writing can be performed.

How to Read and Write Audi EDC16U31 with Multi Prog

 Read and write Audi A6 diesel 2.0 TDI Bosch EDC16U31 ECU successfully with Xhorse Multi Prog . Read ext eeprom, ext flash & int flash ok, write ok. Bench mode. EGR DPF off. Checksum correction with multiprog. Did the same ECU with KT200 II latest month. KT200 does bad checksum on this ECU. Write unsuccessfully !! Stop 90% ecu bricked. Multi prog has no problem. All ok car starting.
