A lot of people wrote that they can’t successfully connect the md1cs069 and there is no concrete answer why it doesn’t work, that’s why I made this post to work on 4.4 ohms as well as 3.3 and 5 ohms, I had 2.2 ohms from the airbag, most electronics guys have them so it can be done like that. I did an unlock in the boot glitch and later read and wrote in the bench."

How to Fix MMS Flex VW Golf 8 DQ400E Clone Failure

Image
Problem: Tried to clone VW Golf 8 DQ400E gearbox TCU with Magic Motorsport Flex programmer but won’t connect. All pinned up correctly and on power supply. Won’t connect at all. Can hear it when pinned up. Any advice? Solution: Some users reported that VW Golf 7 works fine but Golf 8 won’t connect. Use a multimeter to measure your Flex pins, it’s a common issue for them to have no contact inside. Check wire and pins. Try to disconnect and connect back power supply to gearbox during connection establishing. If still not working, send log to MMS support or use other device. Launch X-prog3 read it fine. Read it with Launch + Xprog/ Launch X431 ECU programmer and it reads fine.

Solving Flex Compatibility Issues with SID209 ECU

Image
Problem: It’s a Ford Transit 2018 with sid209 TC1797 ecu. Hardware number gk4a 12a650 ua. I’ve tried bitbox and Flex programmer . But hardware not compatible (obviously see hw not listed). Any solution? Solution: Sid209 GK4A version you need to boot unlock. Can’t write via obd straight away. Boot for readout, never had any luck with VR’s on GK4A. Same as Autotuner . Do it in boot mode or use other devices. Some had good success with Trasdata & PCM Flash.
