 Some users reported that their pcmtuner was working fine on Win7 but an error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" occurred after update system. Here's the working solution from iecutool.com and our customers. It's a problem with windows last update. Solution 1: Try restore windows. Your windows done an update, try do roll back to previous. Solution 2: If don't work install your PC with system update no more than 2019. Solution 3: Customer solution. No restoration!!! No any reinstall.  Here comes the problem: My pcmtuner software is no longer showing me any pinout connection diagrams, it's just showing blank on instructions page after choosing the ecu to work on. I don't know whats going on with it. Instruction page is just blank. Possible reason: 1. This ECU is not supported so pcmtuner will not give instruction. Always refer to your module list for pcmtuner https://www.iecutool.com/service/pcmtuner-support-module-list.html 2. If the ecu is done via OBD or OBD vr, there are no pinouts provided for obd modules. For example, all Toyota modules are OBD, there are hundreds of ECU's, if you need to do other than OBD you will need to research a pin out schematic. 3. If pcm tuner app not showing pinout on ALL ECUs, restart computer and run pcm as administrator. Run as admin, if win10 ensure Microsoft edge up to date. If win 7 ensure edge plugin installed and up to date.

After installation Double click the desktop to run PCMtuner Flash As the picture shows below: Copy the machine code according to the software prompt, and send it to the mailbox (info@tuner-box.com). Please send the machine code (device ID) together with the serial number on the back of your PCMtuner hardware device to the mailbox to request the activation certificate in order to activate your PCMtuner Flash software.  Check PCMTuner Flash V1.2.7 new software common errors and solutions. 1). After get license 1+LKtQAIEACnBgIAqv0Zgnt2BgedJkTLAla0yg==, Still need activation. Maybe wrong license? Solution: Need to copy the license to C:\Program Files (x86)\PCMtuner Flash folder. If still not working after copying the license, contact sales@iecutool for technical support via Team Viewer. Don't alter or change the name of the file when saving it because if you do then the license file won't work and you will have the activation problem despite loading it into the system. The other mistake that people are making is although its telling you to copy and paste the file into the directory that won't work either and will causes issues so what we found is if you actually physically move and drag the license file into the directory fully then open the pcm flash software then that also solves the problem as well and it will work perfectl

 Question: I tried the installation of pcmtuner flash 1.2.7 , I am stuck on this error, I do not use a virtual machine antivirus protection and firewall disabled. It is a Lenovo G50 portable PC. with windows 10pro 21H2. Anyone has an idea?! Solution: Some tablets like surface pro actually are Virtual windows. Try disable virtualisation in Bios setting.
