 The Renault Kwid ECU ME17.9.23 TC1724 was brought in for cloning. The part number on the ECU is 0 261 S17 723. The goal was to read the ECU data using the OBDSTAR ECU Maste r, back it up, and then write the data back to verify the process works. Bench Mode Connections All necessary connections were made for bench mode operation. The wiring includes: Positive and negative power connections CAN High and Low wires for ignition GPT wire (on the other side) These connections are shown clearly so viewers can follow along.   Question: It’s a Peugeot Partner 1.5 132hp with Bosch MD1CS003 ECU. Car build date is 2020/06. Try to read this ECU with Flex programmer. How do i know if ecu needs to be boot glitched or not? Is there any danger of trying to connect and reading on non locked protocol if ecu requires boot glitch? Here is the clue. How to determine whether the MD1CS003 ECU is locked or not? Way 1: Just try normal bench read and you will know if its blocked. If locked then flex tell you. Way 2: Check the ECU label. If 0281 034, 035 or 036 it’s not locked. Also, 0281 037 101 not locked. If more than "037" is locked. FYI: How to determine the TPROT lock status of PSA MD1CS003: It can be quickly determined based on the part number. Part numbers starting with 3XX indicate not locked; those starting with 4XX or 5XX indicate a locked state, requiring an unlocking operation before normal data reading and writing can be performed.

  Problem: The screen suddenly goes a bit darker and the Flex programmer software app freezes. At the same time, the USB and update icons start flashing red. It only started doing this in the last couple of days. Any ideas what could be causing it? Solution: 1). The laptop is on standby. Quick reboot and its fine. 2). You are running it in browser. Use the software application. 3). Flex suggests uninstalling everything and doing a clean install. If problem exists, contact Flex technical support.

"I tried to test an Autotuner reading after a boot glitch with Flex MD1CS003 +2021 0281 037 200 It works perfectly. I had already tried before, it didn’t work but I understood why. If you unlock with Flex + a file mod, AT no longer recognizes it. But on this calculator I simply unlocked with flex, and did a read test with Autotuner to test and it was read. What you can deduce, Autotuner can read if your file is original (just unlocked) .
