  Problem: I have a problem with pcmtuner flash . I can read but can't write EDC17c84 via OBD. Solution: Remove ecu and read/write again on bench module 71. If car not start by module 71 bench mode, the problem can be the checksum. After fixing checksums, it works on bench module 71. If not working, try unplug T° engine sensor and try if not succes Wait until T°10 and retry.

  Problem: How to solve this please? After installation and activation of both pcmtuner and pcmtuner flash (a new tool). I have no response when trying to open pcm flash. Error process has exited. Solution: Reinstall with no antivirus and firewall, try open PCMtuner flash directly, you will also get this error IF the ecu is not supported or linked from your pcmtuner app. If it's windows 10 the real-time antivirus is activated every time you restart the system.

  Question: I try to write a modified file on pcmtuner module 71 and ask me to confirm the checksum. Normally it said in the module 71 can do flash checksum. But why is ask for continue if the checksum is not correct? Good file blue symbol and Yellow modified file. Solution: "Checksum is correct."= checksum was ok "Checksum was corrected." = the other wasnt so software corrected it. pcmtuner flash corrected the checksum and you can procceed. Press OK to correct checksum. One checksum was ok, the other wasnt so software corrected it. When software is modified always it needs to fix checksum. If you write the original no need to fix checksum!

  Problem: Can I read Nissan March 2016 1.6 petrol engine ME 17.9.55 ecu with pcmtuner ? I tried module 71 but it is failing. Solution: pcmtuner ME17.9.55 ecu pinout use labels not colors. try GPT0 and GPT1 on pins marked yellow (any order may swap later), but please power everything off and restart PCM tuner and app before trying to make ID, if not ID then swap GTP wires and try again. If still failed, open ecu and check what TC17xx fitted, power on bottom row different and of course GPTs read password after ID to as this may not work like EDC17/MED17 automatic password.

  Problem: What problem? I try to read Mercedes C320cdi edc17cp01 ecu with pcm tuner. Skipping when I upload a modified file to pcmtuner , the ignition turns on and off continuously. Solution: Calibration area so skips other parts of memory as informed, its normal, the problem is your file. Between 14000–1FFFF is otp it's the Service area. In module 71 it skips OTP area as this area is the part that can only be read but never rewritten. Ask someone else to do your file remap. You can Set this in settings when a complete write is Necessary. You can find settings when you click on write a settings screen opens.

Solution: PSA EDC17C60 is tprot. I have built connector as in photos, but it’s not easy to find relay with 720 ohm resistance, i used 320 ohm relay coil resistance to enable L- line power auto control, does it affect the PCM tuner unit?  Has anyone tested pcmtuner on xentry software for Mercedes Benz? Yes, PCMTuner tested working as a J2534 passthru device for Mercedes. You need the version of software called XENTRY Pass Thru. pcm tuner does not work with MB SD C4/C5 standard OpenShell version (XDOS). But w203 and w211 older not all works because they need a multiplexer. 2005 upper all works like with tactrix openpoprt 2.0. People has tested it but with older cars not connect with all modules. This is a known issue with j2534 passthru. J2534 doesn't work with older k line cars full stop. The passthru cannot use Vediamo 5 as well, only version 5 because vediamo 5 doesn't support Passthru.
