Foxflash EDC17C41 BMW F10 ECU Cloning Guide

 It’s a BMW F10 530d with Bosch EDC17C41 ECU. Successfully cloned ECU using Foxflash programmer on bench mode.

Read EEPROM and IntFlash from Original ECU.
Read IntFlash from Donor ECU.
Use Clone tools and combine ORI and DONOR Intflash because of setting up OTP sectors and save new IntFlash file (important step).

Use the cloning service in foxflash for the IntFlash file.
Write ORI eeprom to Donor ECU without checksum
Write new IntFlash file to the donor ECU with checksum.
Done.

  Foxflash programmer will read and write Mercedes Benz gasoline SIEMENS VDO MSM2.0 ECU on bench. Here is the fox flash pinout to MSM 2.0. Select driver Mercedes Siemens ECUS 1.4/1.6 Siemends VDO MSM 2.0 FULL SYSTEM If old and new ecu have read flash and eeprom without problem. Write not work with foxflash. Have error. Cannot write any file as shown image below: After read flash/eprom — Disconnect ecu and restart software (unplug foxflash ) — restart Then connect again, Write flash, Also try lower power only need 13v on this ecu.
