KESS3 Update Supports MD1CS069 ECU on Bench

Alientech KESS3 introduces the BENCH protocol for Bosch MD1CS069 on Iveco Daily.

One of the most widespread applications in the light commercial vehicle segment can now be managed directly from the ECU connector with KESS3.

A new expansion of operational capabilities is now available with KESS3: thanks to the release of the dedicated protocol for Bosch MD1CS069 ECUs installed on Iveco LCVs, it is now possible to operate in BENCH mode, without the need for invasive operations on the control unit.

Widely used on 2.3 and 3.0 FPT engines since 2019, these ECUs represent a standard in the segment and are increasingly required by workshops working on fleets and commercial vehicles.

This translates into concrete advantages for daily work:

  • safe and efficient access in Bench mode
  • reduced intervention time
  • simplified management even on operational vehicles

Once the ECU is connected in BENCH mode, you can proceed directly with read and write operations, integrating the workflow in a streamlined and linear way.

The protocol is already available for KESS3 users with CAR-LCV and TRUCK-AGRI (for vehicles over 3.5 tons) BENCH/BOOT activation and active subscription.
