How to Solve MED17.1.6 OTP Not Writable in Foxflash

 Problem:

Tried to read and write Porsche med17.1.6 (tc1797) ECU with foxflash. Reading was okay with the original but I can’t write with new one is there any idea or tips about this type?

Error: Uncorrect file 014000-OTP sector not writable.

Solution:

So need to import ONLY maps, now theres changes on otp area on that version your trying to write. Needs some manual winols editing to make that new file compatible to be written on foxflash.

Tool give you info about OTP adress, its the important thing. Some flashers are skipping this block, some not. Try boot.
bench read all on old, write all on new ecu or via boot
You need to rewrite the OTP in the file. You need to find the sector that Foxflash suggests and enter it from the old firmware into the new one. It would be good if you had WinOLS.
