Clone Fiat ME17.3.0 ECU Easily with CG FC200 Programmer
How can you clone an ME17.3.0 ECU computer from the Fiat brand using CG FC200 programmer?
These computers come on the Fiat FCA platform of the Mopard line.
Run FC200 software, select Fiat, model and Bosch E17.3.0 ECU.
Check the wiring diagram. FC200 gives 3 versions of pinouts. Try them one by one. In this case, Pinout V2 works.
What is the difference between the three. To start with the first one, the only difference is that it only changes its ground line, which is in the second pin that, unlike the others, its gpt lines go
extreme, in this case they go extreme with version number 3, but at the top, version number 2 retains pin number 3 in position number 3, which is the Ground cable just like version 3. But the only thing that changes is the position of the gpt. In this case the gpt goes on pin number 1 and in this one it goes on number 3.
After we have the connection we are going to identify. FC200 connects with the computer.
To clone ECU, you have to back up original ECU eeprom and flash first which we have done that.
Then read and save eeprom (Dflash) on the donor ECU.
Read and save Pflash. FC200 reads without any problem.
Let’s write the Pflash. We are about to write the original data of the ECU to the donor ECU.
You need to verify pflash (correct checksum), click Yes. The pflash was written without any problem. That is a perfect clone.
We can clone by writing the eeprom and flash in the order. In this case I skipped the order.
CG FC200 is a very intuitive device that helps a lot.
