How to Read and Write Volvo 48V Battery Module After Crash

 Question: Looking for a solution to unlock a Volvo 48v battery after had a crash. Lithium battery from a Volvo mild hybrid car who has had a crash and need to reset crash memory from battery BMS. Had fault code B1652–7F or B1627F.

There are several tool that will read and write Volvo MVBM 48V battery module eeprom to clear crash.

1.CG100X

CG100X will read and write this module on bench.

2. Autel IM608 XP400 Pro

Crash in eeprom. Autel can read and write it.

3. OBDSTAR Odometer or X300 Classic G3
OBDSTAR add Volvo 48V MVBM Medium Voltage Battery Module erase crash records.

4. Try with Smok.
