 What is the difference between CG FC200 and CG100X programmers?


CG FC200 vs CG100X

They are different programmers.

FC200:

used to read, write and clone engine ECU and transmission gearbox TCUs.

FC-200 could be useful for BMW ISN from Ecu or maybe for some Ecu cloning. FC-200 supports most bosch ecus but has more pinout diagram for every ECU it supports and more user friendly,

CG100X:

CG100X is the upgrade version of CG100 Prog III. CG100X adds more airbag, eeprom and mileage correction models.

CG100X Programmer also can do VW MQB dashboard mileage correction while FC200 cannot.

FC200 does not have airbag or mileage capacities.

 Which tool to read this computer BMW MSV70 DME? Foxflash : Yes, via BDM Jtag Connect multifunction cable as follows: Solder the dip/sip connectors on the pcb and do a link: Insert Siemens/Marelli adapter as in photo: To read and write use the following driver: → BDM/ JTAG MODE → BDM MPC → MPC55x/56x Ktag / Kess V2 : Need luck. The best option is BDM. Sometimes Kess v2 and ktag clone read ok but failed during writing, checksum error. Ori Kess done well OBD but takes long. Easy to remove and run in bdm. CG FC200: FC200 programmer does not support this computer.

 I'm trying to read one Bosch MED17.4 from a Peugeot 207 1.6t; ecu pinout is correct, but pcmtuner pcmflash shows failure, I'm using module 71 tc1766 FLASH… So, any clue? Solution: There are 2 types of pinout for med17.4. Try both. see which one works. Bosch MEDV174 IROM TC1766 EGPT PSA Pinout Feedback: Solved. Mine work with type 1 and module 71 TC1766.
