Foxflash Programming Volvo XC70 Bosch ME7.0 ECU in Boot

 Volvo xc70 mk2 2.4t with b5244t3 engine, bosch me 7.0 ecu, foxflash read and write this ECU successfully in boot mode.

Foxflash Read and Write Volvo XC70 Bosch ME7.0 ECU in Boot

To read and write use the following driver:

→ TOOLS BOOT MODE

→ SIEMENS-INFINEON C167

→ Bosch — Flash 29F800

Attention:

If the ECU doesn’t enter boot mode, proceed as follows:

→ Switch off the ECU and remove the grey wire.

→ Connect directly to ground the boot pin with a needle.

→ Switch on the ECU.

→ Remove the ground.

→ Launch the driver and click the read / write buttons.

Had problems with the car when i got it for the first time. Was misfiring and overboosting, got fault codes from turbo boost controller etc. It wasn’t working really good. Today i tried flashing it with stage 2 software for fun and all the problems were gone, and has lot of power now, it just had bad software inside all the time. The foxflash software says xc90 but it is working good in my car and i didnt need to modify checksum at all.

PCMTuner PSA Bosch MED17.4 Pinout

 I'm trying to read one Bosch MED17.4 from a Peugeot 207 1.6t; ecu pinout is correct, but pcmtuner pcmflash shows failure, I'm using module 71 tc1766 FLASH… So, any clue? Solution: There are 2 types of pinout for med17.4. Try both. see which one works. Bosch MEDV174 IROM TC1766 EGPT PSA Pinout Feedback: Solved. Mine work with type 1 and module 71 TC1766.
