Foxflash Failed to Read BMW MEVD17.2.4 on Bench Solution

 Problem:

BMW 328i N20B20A MEVD17.2.4
OBD read file not found database error.
I'm trying read with foxflash on bench but it has error message.
Does anyone know how to resolve this error?

Solution:

13.8v 3am and power the foxflash directly — not to the bench box!

Try again bench but power have to be connected to foxflash directly — power port on the side usb connector. Not to the bench box.

 Which tool to read this computer BMW MSV70 DME? Foxflash : Yes, via BDM Jtag Connect multifunction cable as follows: Solder the dip/sip connectors on the pcb and do a link: Insert Siemens/Marelli adapter as in photo: To read and write use the following driver: → BDM/ JTAG MODE → BDM MPC → MPC55x/56x Ktag / Kess V2 : Need luck. The best option is BDM. Sometimes Kess v2 and ktag clone read ok but failed during writing, checksum error. Ori Kess done well OBD but takes long. Easy to remove and run in bdm. CG FC200: FC200 programmer does not support this computer.

 I'm trying to read one Bosch MED17.4 from a Peugeot 207 1.6t; ecu pinout is correct, but pcmtuner pcmflash shows failure, I'm using module 71 tc1766 FLASH… So, any clue? Solution: There are 2 types of pinout for med17.4. Try both. see which one works. Bosch MEDV174 IROM TC1766 EGPT PSA Pinout Feedback: Solved. Mine work with type 1 and module 71 TC1766.
