Foxflash Failed to Read Alfa EDC16C39 via OBD?

 Problem:

Got his error when trying to read this Alfa Romeo Giulietta with foxflash tool in OBD.

Solution:
You have to watch carefully that ecu mounts yours, because there are 1.6 105 with edc16c39 and 1.6 105 with EDC17.

If it is an EDC17 ECU and you bench it.

If it is an EDC16C39, check the voltage. Little low voltage. Need 13V minimum. Also C39 not always work obd. Better bench it.

Foxflash : Yes, via BDM Jtag Connect multifunction cable as follows: Solder the dip/sip connectors on the pcb and do a link: Insert Siemens/Marelli adapter as in photo: To read and write use the following driver: → BDM/ JTAG MODE → BDM MPC → MPC55x/56x Ktag / Kess V2 : Need luck.  I'm trying to read one Bosch MED17.4 from a Peugeot 207 1.6t; ecu pinout is correct, but pcmtuner pcmflash shows failure, I'm using module 71 tc1766 FLASH… So, any clue? Solution: There are 2 types of pinout for med17.4. Try both. see which one works. Bosch MEDV174 IROM TC1766 EGPT PSA Pinout Feedback: Solved. Mine work with type 1 and module 71 TC1766.
