FoxFlash No Option to Read Mercedes Edc16c32 EEPROM?

 Problem:

I'm trying to read for the first time a Smart Edc16c32 with foxflash but i don't have an option to read eeprom and i need to clone the ecu. Can anyone help me?

FoxFlash reads and copies Mercedes EDC16C32 flash

Solution:

Mercedes/Smart Edc16c32 do not have Eeprom, they have what is known as an Emulated Eprom (in flash memory).

only need to copy ext flash to new ecu.

also don't forget to save the current file of the new ecu , if the software of donor ecu isn't compatible it will not work.
