PCMTuner 'An Internal Error Occurred' Solution

 Question:

I already activated the pcmtuner flash software but can’t read edc16c39 ecu. Always this error ‘An internal error occurred’… Any help?? Thanks

PCMTuner reads EDC16C39 error An Internal Error Occurred

Solution:

If trying to read an Opel vectra edc16 which is not supported, you’ve probably done damage to your pcmtuner hardware depending on how you connected to the ecu.

Opel edc16c39 is not supported in pcm flash models.

You can read this ecu with the Fetrotech tool plugin.

Always check pcmtuner supported module list before operation.

Foxflash : Yes, via BDM Jtag Connect multifunction cable as follows: Solder the dip/sip connectors on the pcb and do a link: Insert Siemens/Marelli adapter as in photo: To read and write use the following driver: → BDM/ JTAG MODE → BDM MPC → MPC55x/56x Ktag / Kess V2 : Need luck.  I'm trying to read one Bosch MED17.4 from a Peugeot 207 1.6t; ecu pinout is correct, but pcmtuner pcmflash shows failure, I'm using module 71 tc1766 FLASH… So, any clue? Solution: There are 2 types of pinout for med17.4. Try both. see which one works. Bosch MEDV174 IROM TC1766 EGPT PSA Pinout Feedback: Solved. Mine work with type 1 and module 71 TC1766.
