Solution:

Bputting in BSL boot mode, you need to read password via module 71, then AFTER you have saved password, switch to module 53 and put ecu in BSL bootmode. Then when asked, select the password you saved.

if unable to read password, then unable to do job if cannot use 71. only option left is OBD.
