Answer: obd module 35, try ID to obtain ECU info.

Answer:

It is VR reading Only.

Pcm tuner will read ID of the ECU, try module 35 for ID or maybe gen2 hilux then module 46 for ID.

Note the HW and SW numbers. Log on to VZ performance, click search, enter either number in search box, press enter twice.

You then obtain original file using the ID information, modify the file and write to ECU.

Foxflash : Yes, via BDM Jtag Connect multifunction cable as follows: Solder the dip/sip connectors on the pcb and do a link: Insert Siemens/Marelli adapter as in photo: To read and write use the following driver: → BDM/ JTAG MODE → BDM MPC → MPC55x/56x Ktag / Kess V2 : Need luck.  I'm trying to read one Bosch MED17.4 from a Peugeot 207 1.6t; ecu pinout is correct, but pcmtuner pcmflash shows failure, I'm using module 71 tc1766 FLASH… So, any clue? Solution: There are 2 types of pinout for med17.4. Try both. see which one works. Bosch MEDV174 IROM TC1766 EGPT PSA Pinout Feedback: Solved. Mine work with type 1 and module 71 TC1766.
