  Problem: Peugeot 508 1.5 Blue hdi 96 kw with MD1CS003 ECU. Performing adblue in progress need info: Allready have benched read full backup using Foxflash programmer . File alllready modifed by tuner. Before i write I need to know do i need to reset adblue? I am not able to do it because of DTC U010E Emissions Control Can Network (Urea Pump Gauge Module) Can I upload write allready modfied file in this case and do i need to disconnect the module later. Does somone have experience with this to help? PS IS IT VOLTAGE GOOD!? 13.6 V Solution: on MD1 ECUs ALLWAYS need to disconnect module. On md1cs003 we always disconnect urea pump and module or If is a new type of fusebox i disconnect 30a fuse, diode and relay. Resets better do before write mod but not always i do, but sometimes i do reset after if still urea light on dash flashing.

  Problem: Tried to read and write 2006 Mercedes E-Class 350 w211 MED9.7 ECU with Autotuner programmer via OBD. I wrote the tuned file and got no crank no start. I can’t read ID or write back original now. Any help? Solution: SOLVED: unplug battery 10mins and I was able to write again. Issue- bad file. For this protocol, it is always just bench these, ECU is easy to get too so just as quick and safe plus full back up so win win.

  Question 1: I want to transfer XirDecoder chip tuning software license to new laptop, can you reset this license? Answer 1: There’s actually a license reset button within the program. It will reset the license connection. It can also be used on a new PC. Question 2: Can XRemover correct checksums on its own? Does it need internet to change the program? Does it do the reading and writing to the ecu also? Answer 2: XRemover does not read or write to the ECU. Therefore, it does not perform checksums either. You must use devices and software that read and write to the ECU, and these devices will perform their own checksum checks. XRemover applies the solution to a file. The original devices used when writing the resulting new file to the ECU also perform the checksum process. It is beneficial to use original devices, not clones, when writing to the ECU.

  Problem: VW Crafter 2021 dcm6.2v no go with foxflash . Virtual read obd2 not in database. Solution: On some models virtual file was not in database and solution on this is to upgrade or downgrade software version. Done it by ODIS Engineering software. Or read it in boot mode with other programmers.

  Foxflash report today: Clone PEUGEOT PARTNER SID807EVO ECU successfully. SID807EVO Read/Write BOOT MODE Cloning ok Checksum correction by foxflash.   Problem: It’s a Volvo XC-60 with DENSO MB279700–96xx ECU. Original ecu has been flooded with water. Have read eprom on bench no problem same as whole ecu. MMS Flex says there is no clone. How to clone this ECU with Flex programmer? Feedback and solution: It turned out that after writing full backup in to the destination ECU, everything is ok — no faults, car start and drives.   I just had an issue with this ECU while trying to perform a Full OBD read Renault SID307 with Flex programmer . At the moment of connection, Flex managed to read the password, and right after that it started patching the ECU. A few seconds later, the cooling fan turned on, and shortly after, during the connection process, the ignition switched OFF and then an error appeared. The car no longer starts. So the only solution we found was to read the ECU in Boot mode, but fortunately we had the password file read via OBD. Therefore, we had to repair the Flash file and write it in Boot mode. FYI: Foxflash programmer can also read SID307 ECU via OBD without issue. Example: Read and wirte Renault SID307 via obd. Follow the instructions for how to keep ignition on for the procedure.  How to read and clone the GPEC2 module? This module is used in Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, and other American CDI vehicles. We will perform the process using the OBDStart DC706 ecu tool along with its MP001 adapter cable. Step-by-Step Process: Connection Setup First, we connect to the vehicle via OBD. Then, we navigate through the tool’s menu to find the GPEC2 module. This module is used across multiple brands: Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep. In our case, we are working on a Jeep with a PC56 / 66 Plus 95 320 system. Adapter Configuration Depending on your setup, you may use: A PC adapter with two wires (CAN High and CAN Low). An adapter with a GPTAN connector. In all cases, you can read modules such as BDL03 Plus or BDL03, but you must add a 120-ohm resistor between CAN High and CAN Low for proper communication.  2015 Mercedes- C220D Delphi CRD3PLUS.A0 TC1797 ECU reading and writing review: Flex could not read/connect via Bench or even OBD- Tried both pinots, Tried TC1793 etc. Pulled out Foxflash with the same result. In the end completed with Autotuner worked first time. Very Strange as have done many of these before and there’s no info out there to say this can be a case. But looking through the forum a couple people had the exact same issue. Conclusion — there’s a small batch of these which can’t be done with flex etc. So if you have this issue try with Autotuner!  

  Problem: Read and write DCM6.2V Vag ECU with MMS Flex programmer. At 29% the write failed and car didn’t start, voltage was 13.3. Any solution? Solution: Do these without a charger. Probably an internet or server issue. Or do it in bootmode! OBD after 21 with flex maybe can damage eeprom. Never had an issue but generally use Autotuner for these. Even without a charger they are stable. Instead of flex, we can use AT on it only because checksum by flex takes ages!

  OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 worked very well today, had to do DTC off on a Peugeot boxer dcm6.2c. ECU type: DCM6.2C Mode: Boot mode. Read ext eeprom and int flash ok. Write eeprom and flash ok. Only had DCM6.2A listed but I know the pin out is the same. Worked great with fast read and write and even did the checksum correction. DC706 will do the same in boot mode.
