 Anyone write with obd mode on Renault SID309 by Foxflash ? Is it safe? Need luck. One of our customers made one last week with no problem. Another user read one but can not write via obd. He had to use boot to write ecu. Better read sid209 in boot with foxflash. Use PCM Flash to read Sid309/310, it is safe OBD. www.iecutool.eu

 What’s the difference between the FormulaFlash and Foxflash? Is it the same as Flex or FC200? 1.FormulaFlash is not the same as Foxflash . FormulaFlash works on bench and boot for now. It will be updated with OBD later. Foxflash supports different ECUs E98, E83, Simos XX etc. It have diffrent car list like foxflash etc. Have for example msd/msv bench, tcu al551/2. One tool can do this and another tool can do that. They are complementary devices. 2. It is not the same as Flex even though they look similar. This tool is a single unit. Flex uses benchbox. Flex costs something like $8000 for all modules. 3. Formulaflash’s checksum function is very powerful and has many exclusive algorithms and advantages. Please check the checksum list for details. Formula Flash is not a clone tool.

 Which is a better tool to read Porsche ME7.2 ECU? MPPS: it reads, but has risky to brick ECU. One of our customers bricked a ME7.2 Porsche Boxster 2001 3.2L. KESS V2: it reads, but has risky to brick ECU. I bricked it with kess. Foxflash: fox works perfectly on this ecu. If bricked this ECU with MPPS or KESS, you can saved with FoxFlash via Boot mode.  It’s a 2011 Opel Astra with Denso 64F7059 ECU. Which tool to read these Opel Denso ECUs and by what method? Here is the clue. KESS v2 works no these Denso ECUs. But KESS can kill these ECUs because of checksum. It works through obd with mpps v18. Use mpps to do checksum by itself. But if you need a full reading, you need to use foxflash (Full system bench). Feedback: kess/mpps not working, Foxflash read, write ok and checksum by foxflash.

  Problem: One of our customers’ got an error when updating foxflash software . Error ‘The request was aborted: Could not creat SSL/TLS secure channel’. Solution: Win7 Operating system issue. Delete foxflash manager, download, and install again. If still not working, change a Windows 10 laptop and try again. www.iecutool.eu

 Today we are going to read Mahindra Bosch EDC16C39 ECU with OBDSTAR DC706 and P003+ adapter. For some EDC16 ECUs you must use P003+ or MP001 , old P003 does not work. 12 volt supply will be required. Go to ECM function, quick search EDC16C39 and select EDC16C39 MPC561(2)+ M588W016D(F)B Choose Bench mode with P003+ adapter Check wiring diagram Then connect DC706 with EDC16 ECU via P003+ Connect ECM Read EXT eeprom and save Read EXT flash and save.
