From the Multi-Prog (Xhorse) connection log in bench mode, I see: CPU type: SH725xx BOSCH part number: 1034420266 TCU type: TCU-2-x.x MCU: R5F72549R (72549) UID: E716113C / EF722549R Flash: 0x2800000x Int EEPROM: 0x200000 Connection successful, boot bh1g0301 Multi-Prog (latest update) reads internal flash, EEPROM, and maps without issues, but the big question is: Can I do a true 1:1 clone (including OTP/component protection/IMMO data) onto an identical donor unit, or are there locked/OTP zones on the Renesas that prevent a perfect copy? Solution: Yes if it is not MQB system. We use the godiag gt107 with it and no problem. No if it’s MQB system you will not be able to clone one to one. Need to transfer files from original to donor. Better use MMS Flex for this. Flex will 1:1 clone DQ381 TCU.

  Problem: I get this error with CG FC200 programmer that I have to upgrade. So I upgrade and now I get this stupid message. How can I fix this? Error 1: 0703 Request data is out of range. Error 2: Receiving timeout. Solution: Uninstall the software, download the latest version from the official website, and reinstall it. CG FC200 software is working normally. User report: This issue came with me, I installed the new version of the software and later updated its frame ware, my issue was resolved.

 As titled, iecutool.eu here will show how to read Porsche SDI6/SDI7 engine ECU CS and PIN code using CG FC200 programmer. In FC200 software, select Porsche SDI7 ECU. Check bench wiring diagram. Connect ECU with FC200 follow the diagram. Read and save ExtEEPROM and Pflash data. Select decrypt immo data. Then load ExtEEPROM and chip ID data to retrieve CS and PIN code. Read CS and PIN successfully.

 Renault Continental SID321 reading review: MMS Flex failed to read SID321 via OBD VR. It says no Virtual read available for this software version on the server. Cannot do it on bench when no vr on server. Did it with Alientech KESS3 . Autotuner will also do this ECU. AT is the best in this ecu.

 Tried to read and write Honda Accord Bosch EDC16C7 ECU with Magic Motorsport Flex ecu programmer. Doing CONNECT shows no ID information. But read and write went fine. AutoTuner failed to ID it also. So no read process started. So FLEX failed or didn’t showed up an ID but carried out reading and writing. This is just curiosity about the protocol acting like this. Not worried at all, it would recover with any other of my tools in the box. Always recommend Kess3 on these old ECUs.  

  Problem: It’s a Seat taraco 2.0tdi 2023 model. Tried to read Bosch ECU MD1CS004 (HW80) with Autotuner . It doesn’t want to read it too high protection but I did a virtual read via obd I’m afraid to write it so it doesn’t crash. Error: Authentication error. This ECU has new protection and is not yet supported. Solution: ok with obd mode by Autotuner. OBD is ok for this Version. Virtual is always safe. Obd read and write no problem. Obd read and write safe and fast with charger battery. There are some versions you can’t read it, locked version, 309 AA , M, T. If you want to do adblue off there is another solution.

 The OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 was able to take the ISN out of a BMW 320 year 2016 with MG1CS003 engine ECU. ECU: Bosch MG1CS003 SPC5777 Using G3 (with ECU license activation) and MP001 programmer on bench. Even without a valid subscription. I couldn’t read ISN code for these ECUs with CG FC200 or multi prog. But the G3 for those who have it can already take it out. After reading the pin code, you can program the key with the Autel IM508 or other programmers using the released ISN code.

  Foxflash read and write Fiat Talento 2021 MD1CS006 ECU successfully. Ecu MD1CS006 Read on bench ok. Writing on bench ok. Cheksum correction with foxflash. Adblue off. This ECU has no tprot. So it is possible to be done on bench. No information is displayed on the dashboard. Adblue unit must be disconnected first then plug the ecu.

 Magic Motorcport Flex read and write Audi A6 2021 MG1CS004 ECU successfully. HW version: 0040, H22 Audi a6 2021 Read via OBD VR. Write via OBD VR. such OBD2 VR driver is great. OBD2 straight forward for this HW number. Done a lots of them by OBD2. Also possible by bench for some sw versions.

 Possible to clone VAG Delphi DCM6.2V ECU with Autotuner programmer? Yes in boot mode with Autotuner. 1:1 clone ok. Done with Autotuner few days ago no hassle. very easy just swap full backups in boot mode. If you read in boot and you write back the full backup. Need same part number and hw number. Some tools or also if you use different numbers you will face lost long coding because immo data, coding… crypted and arent correct transfered. Magic Motorsport Flex also does it in boot mode. Works 100%. Flex full read immo lock.

  Problem: Tried to read 2006 VW mk5 gti DQ250C gearbox with Autotuner but failed. Is there going to be any update with support for DQ250C? Solution: DQ250C TCU is not supported by Autouner. AT has no support for Cxx. And it reads and writes DQ250 TCU slowly. Use KESS3 or Flex for DQ250C via OBD or bench mode. Feedback: Ended with flex full read and vr read.
