 2015 Mercedes- C220D Delphi CRD3PLUS.A0 TC1797 ECU reading and writing review: Flex could not read/connect via Bench or even OBD- Tried both pinots, Tried TC1793 etc. Pulled out Foxflash with the same result. In the end completed with Autotuner worked first time. Very Strange as have done many of these before and there’s no info out there to say this can be a case. But looking through the forum a couple people had the exact same issue. Conclusion — there’s a small batch of these which can’t be done with flex etc. So if you have this issue try with Autotuner!  

  Problem: Read and write DCM6.2V Vag ECU with MMS Flex programmer. At 29% the write failed and car didn’t start, voltage was 13.3. Any solution? Solution: Do these without a charger. Probably an internet or server issue. Or do it in bootmode! OBD after 21 with flex maybe can damage eeprom. Never had an issue but generally use Autotuner for these. Even without a charger they are stable. Instead of flex, we can use AT on it only because checksum by flex takes ages!

  Problem: Cannot get Foxflash working today. Error: There is a problem reaching the update server. Solution: so here’s the quickfix from one of our users FOR THE UPDATE SERVER ERROR!   Problem: Tried to read and write Simos 18.1 ECU with Foxflash but extract password not working. Solution: Voltage is not good. User feedback: Solved!  Read and write Skoda Fabia 1.2 12V Siemens Simos 3PG ECU with Foxflash successfully. Lambda OFF. BOOT Read 2min. BOOT Write 4min. Checksum by Lsuite. FoxFlash does not correct the checksum for this type driver. Only self do with other software like Lsuite.

  OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 worked very well today, had to do DTC off on a Peugeot boxer dcm6.2c. ECU type: DCM6.2C Mode: Boot mode. Read ext eeprom and int flash ok. Write eeprom and flash ok. Only had DCM6.2A listed but I know the pin out is the same. Worked great with fast read and write and even did the checksum correction. DC706 will do the same in boot mode.

  Problem: No red light on Foxflash programmer bench box and switch, has happened to anyone? Solution: Light comes only when tool start reading, when it says keep ecu power on make sure switch is at 1, then press ok that’s when the light will come Power will only come on in bench mode after the program prompts you to press the power button. The power button will then light up for one second and turn off again. See on bench box, when the red light turn on, you got power on switch, and light is turned on. It automatically goes red during read or write when the software requests it to Only power needed on read/write.

  Problem: How do I read and write down a driver in a vw dcm6.2v with foxflash in boot mode, because after installing stage 1 (via OBD) the car does not start and I can’t bet anything? Solution: That situation usually comes from checksum handling or wrong patch area — DCM6.2V is picky. If you can still read and connect to ecu, write original file, test if it starts. If yes, then manually checksum the file and write it back. If it still causes problems solution is not good (bad file). Foxflash don’t have bench or boot protocol for this ECU. You can also take boot read and restore ecu.

 It’s a SSANGYONG ACTYON 2009, 2.0, 104kW. ECU type: Delphi DCM3.2AP Tool used: Foxflash Mode: BDM mode. BDM MPC 55x/56x full backup with foxflash. Checksum correction by foxflash, IMMO OFF ok. ST95320 eeprom write back with TL866II programmer for set write protect.

 Renault SID306 ECU cloning is done with Foxflash programmer. Continental Sid306 Infineon TriCore SAK-TC1766 boot mode clone ecu. Need attention for pinout because very small in ecu pin. Cloning cannot be done on bench. Read in boot ok. Write in boot ok. Checksum by foxflash. Better keep power supply 12V+.

  OBDSTAR DC706 read and write VW up with ME17.5.24 ecu, start breaker remove. Read eeprom & flash ok. Write eeprom and flash ok. Checksum by DC706. DC706 will also read immo data, decrypt immo data, write VIN and IMMO OFF for this ECU. Did a few already for VW and Audi, worked great. mp001 is not necessary, the P003+ can also do the job.
