 User feedback today: Completed clone of edc16cp34 Audi A6 C6 2008 Avant 2,7 TDI with foxflash ecu programmer in Bench, no problem. Just backed up ext flash, int flash and eeprom and then wrote to donor. Only for int flash tool does not do chksum but was no problem without.

Autotuner Fix for Audi ASG1 ECU Error 899C Guide

  Problem: Trying to read an Audi e-tron 55 (2022) equipped with an ASG1 ECU using Autotuner Tool . I’m unable to write the Stage 1 file or even the virtual .bin file back to the ECU using AutoTuner. The process consistently fails with the following error in the logs: "Authenticating… Initialization error: 899c" Here’s what I’ve already tried: Ignition ON for more than 1 minute, OFF, then ON again before writing Bonnet open Multiple attempts with the same procedure Vehicle starts perfectly fine, no ECU lock or DTC issues The software and hardware versions seem to match correctly between the ECU and the file, so it doesn’t look like an obvious mismatch. Solution: Unlock VAG SFD security gateway. SFD needs to be unlocked before writing. Tested on some Taycan Turbo and GTS. No issue, 2021 and 2023 MY.

CG FC200 Audi DQ381 Error E111 Security Authentication Failed

  Problem: Trying to read an Audi Bosch DQ381 gearbox with CG FC200 ecu programmer on bench but failed to connect with this TCU. It says error "E111 Security Authentication Failed", Any solution? Solution: The boot version is bh1g0401. This is generation 2 bootloader 401. You can not read it with fc200. Software too new and fc200 can’t break security, yet. Flex or Autotuner can do it.     

How to Read Hyundai DCM7.1AP ECU with FC200 Boot Mode

 CGDI released a new DAP adapter that is designed to read both EEPROM and Flash data from Delphi ECUs. Here iecutool.eu will show how to read a Hyundai Delphi DCM7.1AP ECU with CG FC200 programmer and DAP adapter. Select Hyundai- Delphi DCM7.1AP TC277T ECU and choose boot mode. Check wiring diagram. Connection Setup: 5 wires were connected as per the wiring diagram. A stable 12V power supply was provided. The DAP adapter successfully connected to the ECU. ECU Identification The FC200 software displayed the ECU ID and confirmed a successful connection. Reading D-Flash (EEPROM) The adapter read the entire D-Flash memory without errors. Data was saved to a desktop for backup or cloning. Reading P-Flash (Flash Memory) The Flash read process was also completed successfully. The file was saved and verified. Why This Matters? Foxflash Failed to Read VAG DL501 Solution: Remains at 0%

  Problem: I’m having trouble reading my DL501 gearbox at foxflash programmer . I have to disconnect and re-connect several times, but the reading remains stuck at 0% . Any solution? Solution: You need Bench MFC cable. You need to use multifunction cable that is included in foxflash kit. There is a ignition switch. 12v+ and 12v Ignition. The ignition is under the on/off switch of mfc cable. Pinout directly from device to gearbox doesn’t work. Press read not get id. When tool told you put on or off. After put off, CLICK read then put on After..not before. Tested dl501 gen1 all okay. Even cloning. If use Godiag TCU adapter, before with ECU adapter and have to press the 120ohm button briefly when building the connection then it read immediately. Just try or plug K15 in and out.   Problem: Tried to read BMW E60 CAS3+ module with Xhorse Multi Prog , I keep receiving ID identification failed message. Any solution? Solution: BMW CAS3+ ID failed is usually wrong connection or no ignition wake up. Use adapter mode not direct and make sure all power and ground stable. Also check you selected correct cas3 plus (CAS3+) variant because some need adapter option not normal one.

Dimsport The Genius File Location Guide for Imports

  Question 1: When I import a file to write in Dimsport The Genius programmer it doesn’t put it in the write folder? How to find the imported files in The Genius? Answer: If you use Race EVO to edit it, the file goes into Bench or Obd, if you use another software it’s all in Generic. You have to choose " no info — generic ". It’s your file extension that is not correct compared to what the software detects. Question 2: I need information about race evo program users. How to fix header on mod file? Answer: No need header on mod file, edit noheader file, export and send to the genius. "Folder" OBD , OPEN, BENCH have inside only file with header. All other type dile (without header) are in unkown "Folder" . Only setting File are able to generate/modify corretly header information .
