EDC16C35 BMW ECU read and write with Padflash tool. Automatic file tuning with XIRdecoder software. Step 1: Read the ECU with PADFlash Select Bench Mode- EDC16/ME9 Protocol. Connect ECU with PADFlash via bench box on bench mode. Read and save full Backup data (eeprom and flash). Step 2: Modify File with XirDecoder Select EDC16C35 protocol in XirDecoder. Hit OK and upload original backup data read by PADFlash. System says STAGE 1 and DPF OFF are possible to change. We need to perform Stage 1 and Vmax Off (remove speed limit).   Problem: Failed to run Foxflash software after login? How to fix program not starting after this screen? It’s Windows 10 system. Solution: Make sure foxflash is plugged in and showing as dfb in Device Manager. Kill the app through task manager. Unplug FoxFlash USB. Open FoxFlash manager. Click Activate. After the screen process started plug-in the USB cable and press OK. After that open FoxFlash. If the problem exists, contact your customer service.

  Problem: I bought the Foxflash equipment. It arrived yesterday. I put in my email and the phone number but the device says i already have a registered email. Error: "Another email is already registered with the code. Register with the correct email." Solution: You bought it secondhand and YOU MUST USE previous owners email. You can register tool only once to an email and that’s already used.

  Problem: Tried to read Peugeot SID803 ECU with foxflash on bench. I can read jusd id. But not more. Any solution?  NEW AUTOTUNER PROTOCOL UPDATE! We are updating our OBD protocol for Continental EMS2510, EMS2511, EMS2512 and EMS2513 ECUs installed in Ford vehicles. Until now, only virtual reading (VR) was available for these ECUs. This operation has now been replaced with a real reading (NR) directly via the OBD port. This ensures full compatibility, without depending on the availability of the file on our server. Important note: previous virtual reads were 4MB in size, while the new real reads are 3MB.   Problem: Has anyone already unlocked the password on esc17c60? I extracted the password with foxflash but I can’t find the procedure to rewrite it. I used bench but error password. I can read flash and eeprom in boot mode but not rewrite and not start. Solution: If you put it in a folder foxflash will automatically find it. Save the extracted password in the same folder as new file the write new file. Usually, we can read this ecu easily on bench without password. But if the ECU is updated or replaced in the dealership, you may need to do it in boot.
