Foxflash reads them just fine, you need either old godiag gt105+gt107 OR just newer model Godiag GT107+ in case failed to read these DSG gearbox TCUs on bench. Once again proven that more the tools, better the support. With FoxFlash [or with any programmer ] we can recommend getting GODIAG GT100 Diagtable (+ gpt boot addon ) + GT107+ (or gt105+gt107) to provide best ways on connecting to different ecu/tcu.   Foxflash read and write Ford Ranger 2013 2.2 SID208 ECU via OTB adapter successfully. SID208 OTB PW Ranger 2013 2.2 150 PS EGR+DPF Off Read/Write/Checksum correction by foxflash.  It is a Ssangyong 2020 car, redbull killed it, it came on a trailer, it couldn’t be started anymore. ECU is delphi dcm6.2ap. Foxflash boot mode with bench box not ok, cannot communicate. But with obd cable and godiag boot adapter working fine. Godiag tools, on their webpage is most info and rest you have to dig around but i can say gt100 + gpt addon is a excellent purchase.

 It is a Ford Ranger 2.2 year 2018 with SID209 ECU. Foxflash read ID via OBD, read data via OBD, write via OBD all ok. A lot people say you can’t write back via obd on the SID209. Here used the Ford Custom with the sid209 full read via OBD. Need power supply 14V. Patience is the key. It did fail to write about 5–6 times (because of wifi connection) But it does work. Do not use bench box only jtag cable and mfc cable. Use this pinout.   Problem: Foxflash software failed to read Fiat Marelli IAW 8GMK ECU in full system. Error COM1. Any advice? Solution: Foxflash will read and write Fiat 8GMK ECU in full system mode without issue.   Problem: After downloading and installing Foxflash software on desktop, running Foxflash and pressing ‘Activate’, the software does not respond. Any solution? Solution: The problem is usually caused by the operating system. Change a laptop, better Win10 64bit system. If not working, reinstall software and try again.

Solution: Many people have done read obd unlock eeprom write obd without any problem, but you have to do what foxflash software asks to do, such as disconect and connect batter several times. Just have to be patient and unlocking via OBD takes a long time. everything is ok. How to Restore PCR2.1 ECU if Bricked by OBD? Make this same procedure unlock but connect ECU on bench, but not bench mode, obd mode. Connect only power cables and CAN cables on bench . Don’t write obd read via bench mode because you final kill this ecu. With this process you can recover your ecu in same situation. Or read eeprom bench.. write same eeprom file as you just readed.
