 Here comes the user feedback on VAG MED17.5.5 ECU: VAG Med17.5.5 tc1766 ECU Foxflash boot mode, error on bench (worng driver selected) So tried tc1767 driver ( software prompts same error ) Original pcmflash on bench also error (too high tprot). Ktag clone also error. Back to foxflash boot mode …error unlock password. Selected Tools boot obd password for vag tprot8+ with different pinout and got the password saved. After that everything went smoothly in boot mode. Normally these bench-jobs don’t take long , this one got a little out of hand but foxflash saved the day after all. www.iecutool.eu

  Question: I need to unlock ECU Continental PCR2.1 from VW Polo diesel. Is it possible to unlock with CG FC200 programmer? Answer: It is possible with FC200. We make this with FC200. Read write security pass done Fc200 unlock automatically. pcr2.1 no checksum with fc200, but you can still use it to read and write data. If you modify the pflash, you need to checksum manually before you write back. otherwise it may can’t ignition on. Feedback: Pcr 2.1 read/write successfully by FC200 .   Problem: Failed to run Alientech KESS3 software, it has a problem launching the app. The software says “no tools connected”. Any solution? Possible solution: 1.Close the program and reinstall usb drivers. 2.If still not working, maybe your USB cable or tool is broken. Open ticket and support will help you.   Foxflash released new Manager software 1.4.1 on April 20th, 2024. What’s new in version 1.41? No new protocol updated. Improve reading/writing speed. How to update? When you open foxflash software, it will ask if want to update. Press Yes to update. Why the program doesn’t open after updating to version 1.4.1?   Problem: Help with Simos PCR 2.1. Mistake Write file with foxflash without unlock via obd, error at 99%, so now can't connect in obd, in bench only in boot and can't write, can't connect password tool boot. Any solution? No more boot connection Solution: There is no obd connection so no solution. New ecu. You read everything on the bench and then when you read everything you write the eprom in the eprom and it unlocks it. In obd never do to unlock it If you don't manage to pick it up, buy the exact same ECU with the same numbers on the white label and do IMMO Off.  Some foxflash users got the update server error recently. Error "There is a problem reaching update server". reinstall C++ net framework etc not work, now Error SSL/TLS connection. image attached: Solution: The problem is with you and your pc, not foxflash. Looks like possible virus protection deleting the dll from install. Check the antivirus, and the file x32 and x64. Defender/antivirus all pernament off. Turn off firewall, disable Defender at first and then make an exception in Defender to Foxflash directory. www.iecutool.com

  Problem: BMW 328i N20B20A MEVD17.2.4 OBD read file not found database error. I'm trying read with foxflash on bench but it has error message. Does anyone know how to resolve this error? Solution: 13.8v 3am and power the foxflash directly —  not to the bench box! Try again bench but power have to be connected to foxflash directly — power port on the side usb connector.  Many tools can read Opel EDC16C39 ECU over OBD, including Foxflash . Foxflash also read it on bench. On bench you read eeprom and you can see the immo code in hex format or get code from 3rd party decoder. It's not a bad solution, just takes more time.   Foxflash new user report: Backup DCM6.2a PSA in boot successfully before injection test in obd. new calculator, never done, so a backup to have peace of mind. FYI: We have done many in OBD with foxflash DCM6.2a and DCM6.2c its safe to do , Just exit eco mode in the bsi with you diag tool (i.e Autel MK906 pro/diagbox) before read/Write so ECU doesnt go to sleep + put a voltage stabilizer or cables when you Write.   Problem: It is a Med17.1.1 Audi RS5 bench not ok with foxflash . 8T1907560E Hw 005. Tprot update, Password boot ok, read no ok. Foxflash saves file password but impossible to Read/Write this ecu. in boot mode password vag tprot8 ok, after reading it says not have the password. Even ktag & pcmflash dont read him.  One of our customers reported that he got 'unable to connect to remote server' after installing foxflash software on Windows 10 system (image attached). Ieutool.com engineer check the issue via Teamviewer and found it was the system issue. Need to install foxflash software on a clean Windows 10 system. NET framework version is too low. Need to install NET framework 4.8 in order to run foxflash manager.

  Problem: I got the foxflash software and manager well installed, but get this error after installation. Error "An internal exception occurred". Any idea?
