If still gives this error, try the solution below: 1. Open computer Task Manager -> File -> Run A New Task 2. Open file location you have installed your fetrotech install package, and tick 'Create this task with administrative privileges' 3. Launch all installation files, hit Browse button on the Create new task pop up and navigate to the location where your required file is stored. Remember to add the file suffix as well.

  Problem: I need to read MED17.5.5 AUDI A1 ecu with pcmtuner module 71 . It says unsupported TPROT version, any solution? Solution: It read fails due to security tprot hence the tool provided message cannot access processor. This ECU has dealer security update so cannot be read in bench, try module 53 if you can read password ok in 71 You must read MED 17.5.5 in boot mode. Open ecu and read password.  Problem: My PCMtuner work fine on the bench for some ECU's and not for others. For example it read good for module 71, EDC17C46 VW caddy 2013. But when i try to read old ECU model like Mitsubishi module 31, i got a failure message. So when i test two trimnals positive wire and negative black wire by multimeter i see 2v output! not 12v, Now what i do for fixed this issue please? Solution: For Mitsubishi ECU like E6Txxx you cannot do, you need genuine tractrix openport j2534 with breakout cable , these ecu require 18v programming line (VPP) which pcmtuner not support.

  Problem: Isuzu Denso sh7055 1.7dth ecu is possible with pcmtuner flash ? I tried Protocol 42 unsuccess. Tips: This works fine, but you need to use an OBD breakout cable like the GT105 /GT100. The power needs to be permanent so you cannot use the pcmtuner bench cables as they are switched, OBD port with breakout. Even the godiag full protocol tricore cable will do.

  Question: I already activated the pcmtuner flash software but can’t read edc16c39 ecu. Always this error ‘An internal error occurred’… Any help?? Thanks Solution: If trying to read an Opel vectra edc16 which is not supported, you’ve probably done damage to your pcmtuner hardware depending on how you connected to the ecu. Opel edc16c39 is not supported in pcm flash models. You can read this ecu with the Fetrotech tool plugin.
