 How-to: clone GM Buick 6T30 transmission gearbox TCU with Launch X431 ECU & TCU programmer on bench. Quick search 6T30 and select Buick Encore 2013–2019 6T30 gearbox TCU. Choose bench mode. Check wiring diagram. Connect 6T30 Gearbox TCU with Launch x431 ecu & tcu programmer Connect TCU. Back up FLASH data of the original TCU. Disconnect the original TCU. Connect a donor TCU with launch x431 ecu programmer . Back up flash data of the donor 6T30 TCM. Write flash data to the donor TCM. Clone 6T30 gearbox successfully. OBDSTAR DC706 DC706 supports gearbox cloning for DQ380 (0DE), DQ500 (0DE), DQ381 (0DE), DC706 will also change mileage for DQ381 (0DE) gearbox. 7. Launch X431 ECU Programmer Launch X431 ecu programmer is pretty good on cloning VAG gearbox TCUs including DQ381 (0DE).

  Problem: Foxflash failed to read BMW F11 Bosch EDC17CP45 ECU via OBD? Solution: Read it on bench. It is safe. BMW EDC17 none of them worked on OBD. Read obd is vr. Original file not found in database. Foxflash software does not work on obd for BMW EDC17 ECUs. zf8hp only on obd, ecu you need to do it on bench. ZF8HP over OBD is good job by Foxflash. Do it on bench and also with 13++ voltage. Its very more safe just if you do it minimum 13volt.   Foxflash read and write Nissan Juke 2016 with EMS3155 ECU on boot mode. Purchased a used EMS3155 ECU which I was able to read the password in boot mode. It’s possible to read the password in boot mode by various tool. Read ok, write ok, checksum by foxflash. Voltage supply 13V. DTC off. All good.  Is Alientech KESS3 protocol 3000 safe on obd, Ford Ranger T6 2018 3.2 Sid 209?? Here is the clue. If it is a non smart key, yes, it is safe. Read ID first make sure the protocols are right. Ford ranger, Ford transit, Mazda bt-50, same ecu same engine. If it’s smart key just save yourself the hassle and use boot mode. If it’s normal ignition key then you can do obd. If works via OBD, just don’t unplug OBD connector when flashing. Autotuner is faster but it is safe also with KESS3 . We have done a few and they are fine.   Alientech KESS3 recent update brings a new Continental SID321 ECU (OBD/Bench mode). Tested on a Sid321 Nissan Navara all good. Working perfectly by OBD and bench. Did Navara 2021 in bench mode, made one file revision again on bench. Then cosutomer asked to add egr off also, couldn’t connect bench third time so did by obd instead using the bench read. Read obd to compare and bench/obd read is same. no eeprom just flash, so cannot use this protocol to clone ecu. Worked perfectly. With Alientech every bench or boot solution always reads Full.  How to easily get an ISN from DME BMW? This is a BMW X3 E83 2004 with engine computer Siemens MS45. This type of MS45 computer does not need to be opened to read them and be able to adapt them to a car. Alientech KESS3 read this DME without problem. FC200 does not make siemens.
