Alientech KESS3 Update Error Solution Guide

 Problem:

Try to update the firmware of Alientech kess3 programmer but failed, software gave error "Tool Update Error" Any solution?

Solution:

Alientech usb cable isn’t highest quality. It’s advised not to move cables during operations, USB cables are susceptible to problems when they are moved.

Remember to always connect your power supply adapter whenever you update your Kess 3 device.

Restart the application, change the cable usb and go. Another user use USB cable from ktag and never has issue.

If the problem still exists, open a ticket and reach Alientech engineer for technical support.
