Foxflash VAG MED17.1 OTP Sector Not Writeble?

Problem:

New KT200/Foxflash keeps getting this message when I try to write it to the replacement DME VW MED17.1. When I try to write Ori file on used junkyard ecu I have this error: "uncorrect file 01000 — OTP sector not writeble." Any solution?

Solution:

The ecu file needs to be cloned

OTP's taken from clone file copied to ori file.

If you can not write in bench, open the ecu and write in boot mode.

Feedback:

I use Foxflash with "tricore clone method boot modality" using bench mode and in this way I have obtained a writeable file.

 Which tool to read this computer BMW MSV70 DME? Foxflash : Yes, via BDM Jtag Connect multifunction cable as follows: Solder the dip/sip connectors on the pcb and do a link: Insert Siemens/Marelli adapter as in photo: To read and write use the following driver: → BDM/ JTAG MODE → BDM MPC → MPC55x/56x Ktag / Kess V2 : Need luck.  I'm trying to read one Bosch MED17.4 from a Peugeot 207 1.6t; ecu pinout is correct, but pcmtuner pcmflash shows failure, I'm using module 71 tc1766 FLASH… So, any clue? Solution: There are 2 types of pinout for med17.4. Try both. see which one works. Bosch MEDV174 IROM TC1766 EGPT PSA Pinout Feedback: Solved. Mine work with type 1 and module 71 TC1766.
