  Problem: I try an Audi EDC17CP44 virtual reading with foxflash today, it reads OK, but failed to write file (i bought from tuner). i get this error. Any soultion? Solution: Edc17CP44 without 100% correct VR file is impossible to write. No VR file on server matches, just read/write on bench. only manual solutions from professionals, because this ecu should have 3xOTP. Read on bench, then check if the bench file you read is original by comparing it with the file you bought, if it is not just revert the changes to your bench file with WinOLS and start from there. As the VR was not on server, you must read the ECU on bench, modify file and Write on Bench. If the VR is not on server, don't try and just write a sourced file (internet etc etc) via OBD to try to save time.   Problem: I tried to read CONTINENTAL EMS 3132 Renault with pcmtuner module 38 via OBD, but shows an identification failure. Any idea? Solution: Some succeeded reading Renault EMS 3132 with pcm tuner. But between any identification you must disconnect pcmtuner. Disconnect from OBD port and switch of ignition, restart pcmtuner flash, and plug in obd and put ignition back on. If failed to read it by OBD, you can try module 53 BSL mode.   Question: I have this problem when launching pcmtuner software . I reinstall windows and have a problem installing pcm, (downloading microsoft edge webview2 and after download installer says not work for my system. Only win10). Installation stop. Solution: First error means you system has malware and viruses which have infected your files. Please install on a clean computer! try to use win10 or win7 with 64bit. Feedback: Problem solved after installing manually microsoft edge.

  Problem: I need to read Alfa Romeo Giulietta with EDC17C69 control unit with pcmtuner . When I read both Eeprom and microprocessor, it makes me write the Eeprom but does not write the micro. if I write the Eeprom with the same file that I have read, everything is ok. If I write the chip with the same file that I read, it gives me the message of the photo. Any idea? Solution: You are trying to write the file in the eeprom. Need to Change to flash. You need to select Flash in drop down box to write flash! you cannot write flash if eprom is selected. Select flash in the drop-down menu and flash your file, not flash in eeprom.

  Problem: Will foxflash programmer read and write edc17cv45 or not? I don't see anywhere in software have Kubota edc17cv45, where it's ? Solution: foxflash software does not have Kubota edc17cv45 driver on the list. But there is a BOSCH EDC17 CV54 [1767 ]– Agco [Diesel] driver. If the processor CPU is the same as TC1767 there is a chance to read/write it on bench. To read and write EDC17CV45 [1767] use the following driver: → BENCH TRICORE → AGCO → TC1767 – AGCO → EDC17 CV54 Pinout is the same for KUBOTA EDC17cv45 tc1767 If CPU processor is not TC1767, then fox flash will not read and write this ecu.  OBD on the bench reading the MEDC17.9 with foxflash programmer + godiag gt100 breakout box. I want to try and write the modified files via OBD after an OBD read. The ECU data that had been corrupted is now all OK. Updated: I have had an interesting case with this ECU MEDC17.9 that had failed and had the OTP block. I read the Full flash via OBD, had the flash modified to delete CAT/AdBlue/DPF and EGR (use a tuning file service). When I got the modified file back, I decided to write it via Bench mode. I did the checksum correction using the original flash and flashed it via Bench mode 100% without any problems. The car is now starting and has no faults whatsoever and drives very well. We had brought it on a flatbed. Another great success with FoxFlash and a bit of experimenting.
