FoxFlash Read and Write Smart 453 MED17.9.20 on Bench

 Foxflash ecu programmer arrived today. Tested with "Smart 453 NA ECU MED17.9.20"

Read: ALL OK, EEPROM only OK, Flash only OK
Write: ALL ok, EEPROM only OK, Flash only OK
For confirmation, check the identity of each written data and the
original data OK
Although it is a test on a high-spec PC, if this TOOL is connected from the beginning and the PC is started, the operation of the PC is stable.
I think that it is better to connect this TOOL after starting the PC.
The supplied AC adapter does not provide enough voltage, so I am connecting an external stabilized power supply.

Probably, 3A or more is necessary. This is my case, but I use a cheap "out 13.8V/MAX 30A" on my desk, and a "GYS GYSFLASH 121.12 CNT FV" for the stabilized power supply to the vehicle.

 Which tool to read this computer BMW MSV70 DME? Foxflash : Yes, via BDM Jtag Connect multifunction cable as follows: Solder the dip/sip connectors on the pcb and do a link: Insert Siemens/Marelli adapter as in photo: To read and write use the following driver: → BDM/ JTAG MODE → BDM MPC → MPC55x/56x Ktag / Kess V2 : Need luck. PCMTuner PSA Bosch MED17.4 Pinout

 I'm trying to read one Bosch MED17.4 from a Peugeot 207 1.6t; ecu pinout is correct, but pcmtuner pcmflash shows failure, I'm using module 71 tc1766 FLASH… So, any clue? Solution: There are 2 types of pinout for med17.4. Try both. see which one works. Bosch MEDV174 IROM TC1766 EGPT PSA Pinout Feedback: Solved. Mine work with type 1 and module 71 TC1766.
