Solution: Check PIN out if ok the problem is the voltage. For pcr2.1 needs minimum 13v. V13.5 is recommended. Change power supply and try again.   Problem: My foxflash tool cannot read and write BMW MEV946 protocol by OBD, any advice? Solution: Make sure you have done driver seatbeal on, hazzard lights on and driver door open so dash not got in sleep mode. If still failed to read/write via OBD, there is no VR file on server. Also try to read ecu via OBD on bench using godiag breakout box . Or use kess v2 . Kess make it via OBD without problem.

 Here comes a similar problem: Im reading in Jtag Mode Isuzu Dmax Transtron ECU with foxflash , I can connect to ecu with jtag connection and it's reading, but at the end I get this error and file is not ok, it's empty. Error "File not recognized, send file to technical support Checksum will not be calculated"!!! What's the Problem? Solution: The file on ecu is not recognized by foxflash tool, so it cannot perform the necessary checksum calculations, it is warning not error. This could be due to reading error, jtag do not need such high voltage, try 12.5v.

  Problem: After write in ecu with foxflash tool ecu is bricked, ecu is EDC17CV42 Man Tgs 2014. Have full beckup and no work write File with backup, problem password. Ecu work read File and No work write. Any advice? Solution: You need to find password. Search password in flash file (tool boot password) and then you can write. Try to search in obd file but normally it will do in bench, but you can try with obd file. Since time better to make backup in bench before try to obd. Once you already extracted the password, read write normally.

  Problem: Usage problem, the pc (Win11 system) has a lot of RAM and an empty hard drive and yet I have this error when reading EDC16C34 with foxflash . Error "Your computer's memory is insufficient" Solution: The error usually caused by insufficient computer memory. If your computer has enough RAM, try to delete foxflash software and install again. Feedback: Problem solved, remove foxflash then reinstall software. It works now.
