  Question: I tried to read Ford Focus 2010 euro 4 edc16c34 with foxflash via obd. It says ‘Danger blocking in writing’. Will foxflash do this ecu via OBD? Here is the clue. Bench is the best. Pcm flash original read/write full bench edc16. Never have any problems with it. Foxflash also good for edc16 bench. Ford edc16c34 up to 2008 ok obd with a lot of tools if you follow instructions, 2008–2010 bench only. It’s same issue with all tools on market. There are 2 C34 versions: hw C34–2x and C34–5x. If it’s 5x, it have another type of flash inside, and you need to bench/bdm it. Feedback: Focus 2010 euro 4 (as euro 5 is sid807evo) tested almost all cheap tools obd, reads ok, writes up to 100% but it fails to wake up ecu from programming mode (some thing like that). Writes back ori file good. bench is best, foxflash obd was tested just for education only. www.iecutool.eu

IMMO OFF successfully. Press YES to write data to the ECU. Write IMMO OFF data to ECM successfully. FormulaFlash will read Delco E83 ECM via OBD as well.  People still wondering what’s up since they cannot read this and that DSG (DQ200, DQ250 etc) with foxflash . We’ve done lots of dsg with just foxflash no other tool needed. Foxflash reads them just fine, you need either old godiag gt105+gt107 OR just newer model Godiag GT107+ in case failed to read these DSG gearbox TCUs on bench. Once again proven that more the tools, better the support. With FoxFlash [or with any programmer ] we can recommend getting GODIAG GT100 Diagtable (+ gpt boot addon ) + GT107+ (or gt105+gt107) to provide best ways on connecting to different ecu/tcu.   Foxflash read and write Ford Ranger 2013 2.2 SID208 ECU via OTB adapter successfully. SID208 OTB PW Ranger 2013 2.2 150 PS EGR+DPF Off Read/Write/Checksum correction by foxflash. Bench not possible for SID208 with Foxflash only OBD Boot and OTB. otb, as in on the bench. you can use all obd protocols ff has but in bench connection way. Just a hint Godiags gt100 diagtable does the same with gpt addon.

 It is a Ssangyong 2020 car, redbull killed it, it came on a trailer, it couldn’t be started anymore. ECU is delphi dcm6.2ap. Foxflash boot mode with bench box not ok, cannot communicate. But with obd cable and godiag boot adapter working fine. Godiag tools, on their webpage is most info and rest you have to dig around but i can say gt100 + gpt addon is a excellent purchase.
