  Problem: I have a problem with pcmtuner flash . I can read but can't write EDC17c84 via OBD. Solution: Remove ecu and read/write again on bench module 71. If car not start by module 71 bench mode, the problem can be the checksum. After fixing checksums, it works on bench module 71. If not working, try unplug T° engine sensor and try if not succes Wait until T°10 and retry.

  Problem: How to solve this please? After installation and activation of both pcmtuner and pcmtuner flash (a new tool). I have no response when trying to open pcm flash. Error process has exited. Solution: Reinstall with no antivirus and firewall, try open PCMtuner flash directly, you will also get this error IF the ecu is not supported or linked from your pcmtuner app. If it's windows 10 the real-time antivirus is activated every time you restart the system.

To unlock the ecu, you have to rewrite the eeprom. 90% PCR 2.1 unlocking made me buy fox flash, I had scanmatik+pcm flash but it didn't have pcr 2.1 bench. foxflash software also asks to check checksum, you give it yes or no as you think, I gave no precisely because I did it manually in winols so eeprom copies, then you give it eeprom writing WITH THE TAB YOU COPIED INITIALLY, at a given moment of the question IF YOU WANT TO UNLOCK EPP, give ok and that's it.
