  Problem: Audi TT 3.2 2007 unit ME7.1.1. I can see the option in foxflash car obd but it doesn't work because it asks for a key. and bench does not offer this unit. the solution? Solution: Try another tool. Mpps can sometimes connect in Bench, on these me7.1. Or use ktag or kess3 . Ktag clone even sorts these. You will be able to read ME7.1.1 ECU fitted in Audi with a VAG part number 8E909559 / BOSCH 0261207511 using ktag in boot mode. www.iecutool.com

  Problem: Problem with Continental sid310, foxflash reading ok but writing doesn't let me write via OBD. voltage I attached a battery charger it was on 14v but nothing… Then I have the kess3 open the switchboard but even with the kess nothing, regarding all connections but nothing. Possible solutions: Put the ecu back in the vehicle and keep it running for 5 minutes, read password, unplug and try again… make sure your car battery is charged as power. Foxflash Failed to Read BMW EDC17CP02 via OBD?

  Problem: I'm new to the job, today I read a BMW EDC17CP02 ECU with foxflash tool , catch Obd, and when I wanted to write the tab with dpf off at 100%, I had an error. Any solution? Solution: EDC17CP02 has some various hardware with different types of tuning protection, that's why some work obd and some not. So just to be sure, never have to guess and look — just bench them all for piece of mind. It's a 5 minutes job to take the ecu out to bench it and get a full backup! do it and you can be super safe! Foxflash Failed to Read Alfa EDC16C39 via OBD?

  Problem: Got his error when trying to read this Alfa Romeo Giulietta with foxflash tool in OBD. Solution: You have to watch carefully that ecu mounts yours, because there are 1.6 105 with edc16c39 and 1.6 105 with EDC17. If it is an EDC17 ECU and you bench it. If it is an EDC16C39, check the voltage. Little low voltage. Need 13V minimum. Also C39 not always work obd. Better bench it. www.iecutool.com
