You need 120 ohm between CAN H and CAN L it should read. Connect GND on Pin 9. Connect this way, also you need 120 Between CAN H and CAN L or get a good obd breakout cable with inbuild can resistor. Review: "I was able to read obd bench by using k line ; h and l pins I found from diagram and also 120 between can h and l . I read awesome but when I wrote the mod file the ecu get bricked and I couldn't recover it. So I don't recommend any to use this obd with writing better boot with ktag ."

  Problem: When i tried my first laptop to ID Honda Accord ECU as soon it did ID. After they i get USB not recognized error. Then i installed pcmtuner flash software in another laptop. Got every thing activated. Did ID honda eca via OBD. It did identified but again same error computer say USB not recognized. Tried uninstalling and installing UsB drivers still same. Plz check photos for reference Can you help? Solution: Do not plug 12v power into pcmtuner. Also, this work better with tactrix or openport interface. Don't forget to select it in the drop down box in pcm software. Feedback: All done using OpenPort 2.0 with pcmtuner software.

 Tried to do CRD3Plus.A0 from Mercedes W205 C220 170hp 2015 Module 53 Infineon TC1797 Mirco 4096KB PCMTuner Read / Write works fine Car starts, but turn off with P060100 checksum error. Tried 2 different Winols Solutions from Tuner. But didn't work. (you must disable checksum correction as the tool cannot do it, must be done manually) After flashing car back to stock, car will run.   Problem: Any way to read the edc17cp14 kia with pcmtuner in bench mode with 71 module. I test many ecu but no results. Solution: First edc17cp14 pinout is for Hyundai/Kia. Do not try read until ID successful, need 14v. Tprot must not be TRPOT3 or TPROT11- if so need do OBD. If failed to read it with module 71, then try read by OBD. If it can read by OBD, then ecu TPROT is to high for bench mode.
